ABOUT BAY AREA SPEECHWORKS-NonPublic Agency
BASW is a Non-Public Agency (NPA) registered with the state of California Department of Education serving public, private, and nonpublic schools throughout Northern California since 1999. Our mission is to provide effective and efficient therapeutic services to students and work as collaborative partners with the schools we serve. Therapists with BASW are seasoned and have experience working with SEIS, participating in IEPs, generating curriculum related materials/activities, and writing measurable, academically relevant goals. As of March 2020, all of our work has moved online. We have pivoted to meet the current needs and demands of schools and will be working with all students and schools virtually via a secure teletherapy platform.
